The SLCC Community Writing Center’s
would like to thank everyone who made the
first annual
Haiku Event Fundraiser
a success

Thank you to everyone who attended and assisted in the preparation of the Haiku Event Fundraiser on October 2nd. Donations collected during the event helped to raise $4000 for the SLCC Community Writing Center. Funds raised will help to support CWC programming and events in the upcoming year. Among the events at the fundraiser was a reading by the winners of the Haiku-A-Thon writing contest. These winners were students grades 1 – 12, and were some fantastic young writers. You download a PDF of the winning haiku from our website at:
